Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs has a working lunch with Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand

On 23 December 2025, Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, had a working lunch with H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, on the occasion of the latter's tenure completion.

The Deputy Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for his dedicated efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia in various areas, such as economic, security, and people-to-people ties. The Deputy Permanent Secretary also commended the Ambassador's outstanding role in promoting cultural cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia.

The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Indonesia. Both sides announced the elevation of their relationship to a Strategic Partnership during the official visit to Thailand by H.E. Mr. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, in May 2025.
