WWU updates logo design to improve usability, accessibility

January 9, 2026

Western Washington University has refreshed its official logo to improve consistency, usability, and accessibility across digital and print materials.

The refined logo - along with updated wordmarks, unit marks, and Athletics mark guidance - is now available on the new WWU logos and usage guide page. The redesigned resource consolidates all logo information into one place, making it easier for the Western community to find, download, and use the correct marks.

This refresh brings all of Western's marks into a single, user-friendly space while strengthening the consistency of how the WWU brand is presented.

The update also includes a revamped email signature generator, allowing faculty and staff to quickly update their email signatures with the latest logo and brand details.

What's new:

  • Updated WWU logo files for print and digital use
  • Consolidated guidance for primary logos, lettermarks, unit marks, and Athletics marks
  • Streamlined logo request forms for lettermark access, new unit marks, and Athletics logo use
  • Refreshed email signature generator

Faculty and staff are encouraged to begin using the updated logo immediately and to replace older versions in documents, presentations, and marketing materials.
