91st District Awarded $585,000 in State Grants, Moul Says

January 21, 2026

HARRISBURG ? Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams) announced the approval of more than $585,000 in state water, sewer, and transportation infrastructure grants for his legislative district.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) met this week and approved nearly $110 million in Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program grants statewide. These infrastructure grants help to ensure our communities and residents have clean drinking water and efficient wastewater management that protects our environment and public health.

The Fairfield Municipal Authority has been awarded $144,700 to replace about 500 linear feet of asbestos cement force main discharging from the Main Street pumping station in the borough. The project will also include erosion control, manhole and wet well reconnection, seeding, mulching and roadway restoration. The improvements will also help to increase capacity and system efficiency.

The White Run Regional Municipal Authority will receive $166,175 for the Northwest Pump Station Rehabilitation Project in Mount Joy Township. The pump station, which has substantial corrosion and deterioration, will be cleaned and coated to protect it. Corroded pump suction lines, discharge piping and fittings will be replaced, and the discharge line will be re-routed.

The CFA also approved a $274,330 Multimodal Transportation Fund grant for the Adams County Industrial Development Authority to upgrade sidewalks, curbing, and lighting along Seminary Ridge and Springs Avenue in the Borough of Gettysburg. These improvements at the United Lutheran Seminary will enable residents and Gettysburg's 3 million annual visitors to safely walk to and from the borough's historic landmarks and amenities.

"I advocated for these grants, and I am grateful to learn that the funding has been approved," said Moul. "The projects were sorely needed and will improve public health, safety and comfort in our area."
