Smithson Joins Saint Francis Clinic East Prairie

Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to welcome Ryan Blake Smithson, APRN, FNP-C to Saint Francis Clinic East Prairie. Smithson graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, in 2026 with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, and he is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Smithson will be providing primary care services in East Prairie, which includes wellness care for all ages from pediatric to geriatric, chronic condition management, sports physicals, acute illness care and more.

Smithson is a native of East Prairie. He's excited to practice primary care in his hometown because of the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients. "I believe trust is the foundation of a strong patient-provider relationship, and I value the opportunity to partner with my patients through every stage of life, helping them stay healthy and navigate challenges along the way," he said.

Saint Francis Clinic East Prairie opened in 2025. The providers at the clinic deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through a full spectrum of offerings, including Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Radiology and Laboratory services.
