Jason Dunaway Appointed to National Safety Council Board of Directors

Day & Zimmermann is pleased to announce that Jason Dunaway, president of its Maintenance and Construction division, has been appointed to the National Safety Council's board of directors. Dunaway was elected as an at-large director and is one of five new members who will help provide strategic oversight for the organization and guide initiatives addressing some of the nation's most pressing workplace and roadway safety challenges. He was seated during the NSC's annual board meeting at the 2026 NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Indianapolis September 11-17.

"These new board members bring exceptional expertise and a shared commitment to safety that will strengthen our efforts to eliminate preventable deaths and injuries at work, on our roadways and in every community."

Dunaway leads Day & Zimmermann's engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance and modification services across the power, industrial, and renewables industries. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the power industry and construction management, with a career focused on safety, operational excellence, innovation, and organizational growth. In 2024, he was appointed to the White House's Nuclear Power Project Management and Delivery Working Group.
