The Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, today welcomed Cuba's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Óscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, to Madrid at the latter's request.

The meeting addressed Cuba's critical situation and the serious consequences for the island's citizens and economy.
