The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 334 in Ansonia. This project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, June 11 and be completed on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The project 0174-0488CN "GG" consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.73-mile segment of Route 334 in Ansonia from Waklee Avenue to Olson Drive. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Black and Boucher on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, 2026.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 334 from Waklee Avenue to Olson Drive in Ansonia. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday - Thursday.
