Governor Rhoden to Sign Largest Property Tax Cut in South Dakota History
PIERRE, S.D. - Today, Governor Larry Rhoden will sign two bills to deliver the largest property tax cut in South Dakota history, SB 96and SB 245. Governor Rhoden worked with legislative leadership in both chambers to negotiate an agreement to deliver this incredible property tax relief to South Dakotans.
The bill signing will take place in the Capitol Rotunda on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:30 am CT/10:30 am MT, or whenever both chambers adjourn (whichever is later).
