Inseason Action #24 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, North of Cape Falcon (Recreational)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the ocean recreational salmon fisheries north of Cape Falcon.

Inseason Action #24

  • Effective 11:59 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2026, the recreational salmon fishery in the area between Cape Alava and the United States/Canada border (Neah Bay subarea) is closed. Possession of salmon on board a vessel is prohibited.
  • Effective 11:59 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2026, the recreational salmon fishery in the area between Cape Falcon and Leadbetter Point (Columbia River subarea) is closed. Possession of salmon on board a vessel is prohibited.
