UnitedHealth Group's $3.3 billion acquisition of Amedisys has been nominated for Merger Control Matter of the Year - Americas as part of the Global Competition Review (GCR) Awards 2026. Fried Frank successfully led settlement negotiations on behalf of UnitedHealth Group in connection with the transaction, with a team led by partner Kathy O'Neill.
