Southbound SR-163 Connector to Southbound I-5 Closed Evenings September 8 to 10

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans contractors will close the southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) evenings from Monday, September 8, to Wednesday, September 10. The connectors will be closed each evening from 9:15 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for the installation of broadband infrastructure.

Motorists may exit at Tenth Avenue, turn left onto C Street, and connect to the southbound I-5.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
