Governor Polis Appoints Jon R. Schumacher to the Gunnison County Court in the 7th Judicial District
DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Jon R. Schumacher to the Gunnison County Court in the 7th Judicial District Court. The vacancy is created by the resignation of the Honorable Ashley Burgemeister and is effective immediately.
Mr. Schumacher is the Founding Attorney at the Law Office of Schumacher & O'Loughlin, LLC, a position he has held since 2011. His practice consists of civil and criminal matters. Previously, Mr. Schumacher was a Senior Associate Attorney with Cliggett & Associates, P.C. (2003-2011); Attorney and Founding Member of Bachus, Schumacher & Schanker, LLC (1997-2002); and Associate Attorney with Wilson & Associates, P.C. (1994-1996). Mr. Schumacher earned his B.A. from Colorado State University in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of North Dakota in 1994.
