FREEHOLD, NJ - The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners presented a certificate of recognition to Bridget Neary, Senior Planner in the Division of Planning, for receiving the 2025 New Jersey Association for Floodplain Management Leadership Award during its Dec. 11 Workshop Meeting.
The certificate was presented to Neary by Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the Division of Planning, on behalf of the Board.
"My fellow Commissioners and I would like to congratulate Bridget on this remarkable accomplishment," said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. "Her contributions to our residents are greatly appreciated, and we are proud to have her as part of our workforce."
"According to the New Jersey Association for Floodplain Management, the award recognizes leaders who have made significant contributions to the field and Bridget's work exemplifies the importance of this program," said Commissioner Anderson. "She has helped municipalities map high-risk, flood-prone areas, develop shared service programs, and secure funding that has significantly reduced costs for both taxpayers and local governments.
