On March 24, Consul General Qin Jie met with Chinese violinist Zhu Dan and his delegation, who were performing at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai.
Consul General Qin Jie first congratulated the artists on their successful performances. He noted that music, as a language that transcends borders, plays a unique and important role in fostering mutual understanding between the Chinese and Indian peoples. He expressed hope that the artists would actively seize the opportunities presented by the 15th Five-Year Plan, participate in more China-Indian cultural exchange projects, and inject greater cultural momentum into the development of bilateral relations.
Violinist Zhu Dan and his delegation performed on March 24 and 26, receiving a warm welcome from the audience.
