Southern Bank names Mike Weaver as Community Bank President in Jonesboro

(Jonesboro, AR - 02/10/2025) - Southern Bank recently announced Mike Weaver has been promoted to Community Bank President. Weaver has over 18 years' experience in the banking industry and has served as a commercial loan officer in the Jonesboro area for the past five years.

"We're excited to see Mike lead our team members in Jonesboro, and I look forward to working closely with him," says Kevin Bishop, Market President. "Mike is very involved in the Jonesboro community and is respected among his peers. There is no doubt his leadership will help Southern Bank thrive and continue as a leader in our market."

In addition to his duties at Southern Bank, Weaver is a Rotarian, serves on the board of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, and is a deacon at Stoneridge Church of Christ.
