Detectives Working Active Leads After Man Shot Outside Bar On Bell Road
Specialized Investigations Division detectives are working active leads to identify the gunmen who shot and carjacked a 37-year-old man Wednesday night outside a bar on Bell Road. The victim, who was struck multiple times, reported he had ordered food from the bar and was eating in his vehicle when a suspect opened the car door and pistol whipped him.
A struggle ensued between the victim and the two suspects prior to the gunfire. They fled in the victim's car.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.
