Dominican Ranked Highly Again by U.S. News & World Report

Dominican University of California has again been named among the Best Regional Universities in the West and Best Value Schools by U.S. News & World Report in its annual ranking of universities and colleges in the United States.

Dominican is ranked #16 in the category Best Value Schools - Regional Universities (West) of the U.S. News & World Report 2026, climbing four places since last year!

Additionally, Dominican continues to be ranked in the top third (#31) Best Regional Universities (West) category.

The ranking reflects Dominican's strength in academic quality and graduate outcomes. Measures included in the ranking were graduation rates, faculty resources, social mobility, peer opinion, and retention rates.

The western region includes California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Alaska. Regional universities provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs.
