Telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

The Russian President had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Tokayev Kassym-JomartPresident of the Republic of Kazakhstan , during which Vladimir Putin reviewed the outcome of the Russia-US top-level meeting in Alaska.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the President on the success of these pivotal talks, which were held with the aim of securing a lasting resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.

The presidents also discussed some topical issues regarding Russia-Kazakhstan cooperation, including mutually beneficial projects in energy.
