Telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev
The two leaders discussed issues pertaining to further development of the strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Uzbekistan in a wide range of areas.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of major joint projects, particularly in the field of energy. Both sides emphasised the role played by the interregional cooperation in strengthening ties in trade and economy as well as culture and humanitarian affairs and noted the considerable practical benefit of the October 2025 meeting of the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan, held in the Moscow Region.
A number of international issues were touched upon as well. The two leaders agreed to maintain contact at various levels.
