Regulatory Commission of Alaska: Notice of Utility Tariff Filing (AWWU)
Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) filed TA183-126 for its sewer utility, proposing to revise its voluntary Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Pilot Program tariff provisions. AWWU proposes to remove the current time limit of three months to one year to allow continued data collection throughout the design of a permanent facility expected in 2026-2027, to change the hours of operation from Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., to Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and to require at least 24 hours advance notice for FOG discharge appointments.
This notice does not contain all pertinent revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from that proposed.
