WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Julia Letlow to represent Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
"Julia Letlow is a proven leader, a tireless advocate for Louisiana, and the clear choice to represent our state in the United States Senate," said Stephen Waguespack, President of the U.S. Chamber's Institute for Legal Reform and former President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry. "I've had the distinct pleasure of working with Julia and calling both her and her family very dear friends. At the U.S. Chamber we are proud to endorse her candidacy because she understands what it takes to grow our economy, strengthen American competitiveness, and create opportunity for workers, families, and businesses. We are confident she will continue fighting to lower taxes, reduce burdensome regulations, unleash American energy, and advance policies that help Louisiana and the nation prosper."
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Congresswoman Julia Letlow. "Louisiana's workers, entrepreneurs, farmers, manufacturers, and small business owners deserve a senator who understands that a strong economy creates opportunity for everyone. In the U.S. Senate, I will continue fighting for policies that create jobs, strengthen our workforce, and ensure Louisiana is the best place in America to live, work, and do business."
