WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02), a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Board of Visitors, congratulated the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Class of 2026, who will graduate from the Academy today in a ceremony in New London, CT.
"Congratulations to the Coast Guard Academy's Class of 2026. After years of hard work training at the Academy, you will now serve our nation in the world's premier maritime law enforcement agency," Courtney said. "The Coast Guard carries out a critical mission in keeping people safe and upholding the rule of law in the maritime domain. You and your fellow servicemembers are the lifeblood of that mission. Thank you for making this commitment to serve and know that Connecticut's Second District is deeply grateful and proud to be the place where your service began."
Congressman Courtney is in Washington, DC today for scheduled House votes and hearings in the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee and the House Education and Workforce Committee.
