LANSING, MI - The National Association of Social Workers (NASW-Michigan) condemns the act of violence that occurred today at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield and stands in solidarity with Michigan's Jewish community.
While we are grateful that children and staff were not physically harmed, incidents like this leave lasting trauma and reinforce the fear that many communities face simply for gathering in spaces of faith and belonging. Hate, antisemitism, and violence have no place in our communities, and everyone deserves to feel safe where they worship, learn, and live.

Mobilizing Against Hate webpage.
