County Commissioners honor recipients
of NJAC Foundation Grant Award Program

FREEHOLD, NJ - The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners was proud to honor the recipients of the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Foundation Grant Award Program during their Workshop Meeting on August 13.

"Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients from the Monmouth County Vocational School District. Your hard work and dedication have earned you this well-deserved recognition," said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. "We are grateful to the NJAC Foundation for investing in the future of our students and providing them with opportunities to continue their education. The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is proud to join NJAC in celebrating these outstanding students, and we wish each of them continued success as they pursue their educational and career goals."

"Monmouth County is proud to be a member of the New Jersey Association of Counties and to work alongside NJAC to advocate for policies that strengthen county government and the communities we serve," said Commissioner Deputy Director Dominick "Nick" DiRocco, liaison to the NJAC. "Through the NJAC Foundation, more than 1,000 students have received scholarships totaling $700,000 since 2011, helping them pursue higher education right here in New Jersey. We thank the NJAC Foundation for its continued commitment to supporting our students and investing in the next generation of New Jersey leaders."

NJAC provides scholarship opportunities through the NJAC Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to providing financial assistance for county vocational-technical school graduates who plan on continuing their education at a New Jersey county or state college/university.

The students who received the awards were:

· Ethan Davis- Amazon Scholarship Award

· Wren Cafferty- AT&T Scholarship

· Mehraal Mudassir- Investors Bank

· Carleigh Feeney- Investors Bank

· Donovan Parks- SHI International

· Haley Ryan- ACECNJ Scholarship
