October 15, 2026: Notorious Pimp Convicted of Sex Trafficking Nine Victims Including Minors, DA’s Office Prosecutes Additional Sex Traffickers

Lebaron Anthony Alexander Jr. faces a maximum sentence of 84 years in prison

LOS ANGELES - A Los Angeles County jury on Oct. 6 found Lebaron Alexander, a well-known pimp, guilty of sex trafficking nine women, two of whom were minors, between 2016 and 2020 in Los Angeles.

Lebaron Alexander (dob 11/23/84) was convicted in case BA484835 of three counts of human trafficking of an adult, three counts of trafficking of a minor for a commercial sex act, five counts of pimping of an adult, one count of pandering of an adult, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

"These sex traffickers inflict devastation among those they prey on," Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said. "They exploit their victims' circumstances and treat human lives as a means for profit. Our office remains committed to pursuing those who perpetrate these crimes and holding them accountable. We recognize the tremendous courage it takes for survivors and witnesses to come forward, share their experiences and testify in court. Thank you to the prosecutors in our Sex Crimes Division and our law enforcement partners, who continue to work daily to eradicate sex trafficking from our community and fight for justice in court."

Between January 2016 and February 2020, Alexander sex trafficked nine females as their pimp throughout Los Angeles County and other parts of Southern California. Alexander groomed the women to engage in sex work, some of whom he met on social media, where he convinced them to work for him. While the victims worked for Alexander, he severely beat several of them, resulting in hospitalization for at least one of the women.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorneys Emily Chai and Matthew Bunnett of the Sex Crimes Division's Human Sex Trafficking Section and was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Victims Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force.

Earlier this month in a separate case, Demont Andre Jennings, a sex trafficker, was sentenced to 25 years to life plus an additional five years in prison on Oct. 7 for shooting at a vehicle occupied by an alleged rival sex trafficker and two women. Two of the occupants were struck by the gunfire and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

In July, Jennings was convicted by a jury on two felony counts of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle.

The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Walter Quinteros-Perello of the Sex Crimes Division and investigated by the Long Beach Police Department.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has been at the forefront of leading efforts to eradicate sex trafficking from Los Angeles County by combining tougher felony charging decisions against sexual exploiters/buyers, commonly referred to as 'johns' and sex traffickers/pimps as well as providing services from community-based organizations to directly support sex worker victims and survivors.
