Our Haitian and Syrian neighbors are essential members of our schools, workplaces, faith communities, and neighborhoods.
Cambridge is particularly proud to be home to a vibrant Haitian community whose contributions enrich our cultural, social, and economic life-a bond made even more meaningful through our sister city relationship with Les Cayes, Haiti.
We are deeply concerned about the human impact of this ruling and reaffirm our commitment as a Welcoming City, to protecting the dignity, safety, and well-being of all residents, regardless of their immigration status.
Our immediate focus is helping residents navigate questions about the Supreme Court's ruling and how to access support. To assist those affected, the City of Cambridge will continue to offer community support, legal assistance through our partners, and other resources and guidance led by our Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship (CIRC). We urge anyone with questions or concerns to call (617) 349-4396 or email [email protected].
