Kyle Carroll Appointed Air Transport Territory Special Representative

IAM International President Brian Bryant has appointed Kyle Carroll as a Special Representative to the IAM Air Transport Territory, effective Oct. 1, 2025.

With an extensive background in the airline industry and a deep commitment to growing the labor movement through organizing, Carroll brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

"Kyle represents the best of what it means to be an IAM member - dedicated, experienced, and deeply rooted in our mission to lift working families," said IAM International President Brian Bryant. "His decades of service in the airline industry and steadfast commitment to growing our union make him an outstanding choice to strengthen our Air Transport Territory."

Carroll is a third-generation union member from Jersey City, N.J., and a dedicated member of IAM Local 914 and District 141.

Carroll, a Continental/United Airlines Ramp Serviceman since 1993, has held various union roles, including steward, committee person, committee chairman, and District 141 Assistant General Chairperson.

"I'm excited to welcome Kyle as our new IAM Air Transport Special Representative," said IAM Air Transport General Vice President Richie Johnsen. "Kyle's impressive resume, hard work for our members, and dedication to the labor make him an invaluable addition to our team."

Carroll has almost completed every class at the Winpisinger Center and looks forward to sharing his knowledge with the members we represent.

Outside of his dedicated work in the labor movement, he enjoys baseball, traveling, and spending quality moments with his family.
