The male adult detained at the scene of a deadly shooting on the morning of Thursday, September 18, 2025, has been arrested.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Brandon Lewis, was transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center and lodged on the following charges: Murder in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Assault in the Second Degree.

One Detained Following Deadly Shooting at Bar in Montavilla Neighborhood

On Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 2:10 a.m., Portland Police Officers from East Precinct responded to a report of a shooting at a bar in the 8200 block of Southeast Harrison Street. When they arrived, they found an adult male deceased in the parking lot. Another man was injured and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One adult male was detained at the scene by police. No suspects are currently being sought.

Detectives from the Portland Police Homicide Unit are responding to the scene to investigate this case. During the investigation, Southeast Harrison Street and one northbound lane of Southeast 82^nd Avenue are blocked.
