This generation introduces the new DL configuration, replacing the previous DX model with the latest HPE ProLiant Compute architecture, powered by Intel® Xeon 6® processors. DL Gen12 models continue the same validated, factory-integrated approach Nutanix customers expect, with configurations tuned for modern workloads like AI and analytics.

1. Intel® Xeon 6® processors with up to 86 cores per socket (1-, 2-, and 4-socket designs), feature Intel® AMX to accelerate AI workloads
2. 8-channel DDR5 memory with 6400 MT/s DIMMs and 2 DIMMs per channel
3. Support for U.3 and EDSFF NVMe storage
4. New GPU options, including RTX 600 and H200 NVL
5. HPE iLO 7 for enhanced management and telemetry

Nutanix-specific QA checks are applied at the factory, and models ship production-ready with the Nutanix AOS Storage software stack and Nutanix AHV hypervisor pre-installed. Firmware updates will now follow a qualified cadence aligned to Gen12's focused portfolio, simplifying lifecycle management and reducing administrative overhead.

We will continue to deliver upgrades via the Nutanix Life Cycle Manager solution, providing the same unified, one-click experience for both software and firmware across your Nutanix environment.
