NJ TRANSIT CUSTOMER ADVOCATE TO HOST VIRTUAL FORUMS SEEKING PUBLIC FEEDBACK

March 25, 2026

NEWARK, NJ - On March 24, Governor Mikie Sherrill signed Executive Order No. 16 directing NJ TRANSIT to develop a Rapid Action Plan detailing measures to improve specific aspects of the customer travel experience, including cleanliness, accessibility, safety, and the digital experience. To support this effort, NJ TRANSIT Customer Advocate Franck Beaumin will host three virtual listening forums to gather feedback from customers to help inform the Rapid Action Plan development and the improvements across all modes of service. The forums will give customers an opportunity to share their experiences and suggest improvements directly to the agency. The executive order requires the Rapid Action Plan to be delivered to the Governor within 45 days.

"Since stepping into this role, my top priority has been listening to our customers and gathering their feedback to help deliver a better travel experience across NJ TRANSIT," said NJ TRANSIT Customer Advocate Franck Beaumin. "I truly value the opportunity to engage directly with customers and hear their ideas on how we can make every trip more enjoyable. I look forward to developing a plan that improves the customer experience."

The virtual forums are open to all members of the public. Customers are encouraged to visit njtransit.com/actionplan to obtain the link to the virtual sessions and to pre-register as a speaker. Customers not able to attend a virtual session can submit their feedback by filling out the survey on njtransit.com/actionplan . The virtual forums will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 31 - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 2 - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 4 - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
