Defendant Convicted of Sexually Abusing Two Girls Over 10 Years

On August 27, 2026, David Gallegos was convicted by a jury of 11 counts of lewd act upon a child and seven counts of forcible lewd act upon a child. The jury also found true a multi-victim enhancement and aggravating factors.
David Gallegos sexually abused two girls for approximately 10 years when the victims were between 5-15 years old.
Gallegos faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Sentencing is set for October 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM in Dept. 16A in front of the Honorable Steve White.
