Full-scale Launch of Enterprise-grade AI Platform based on Collaboration with U.S.-based Articul8

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter CTC) has signed a value-added reseller agreement with Articul8 AI, Inc. (headquartered in California, USA; Arun Subramaniyan, Founder & CEO, hereinafter Articul8) for its autonomous generative AI relation platform. This marks the first such agreement with the company in Japan. CTC will position this platform at the core of our "Data & AI Offering Suite"-a suite of services supporting business transformation through the use of AI agents-to embark on full-scale launch of the services supporting company-wide deployment of generative AI and its continuous utilization in business operations of our customers. We will provide comprehensive support from AI utilization strategy formulation to AI platform construction and operation enhancement, aiming to achieve ¥50 billion in revenue from advanced AI businesses, including generative AI, by the end of FY2026.

In recent years, more and more enterprises have adopted generative AI. However, many of them are struggling to organize their dispersed internal business data, resulting in delays in use of generative AI in actual operations. Furthermore, concerns regarding transparency in reasoning, reproducibility as well as handling of confidential information have hindered company-wide and sustained utilization of and value creation from generative AI.

Articul8's autonomous generative AI relation platform automatically selects the optimal generative AI models for specific industries, including manufacturing, financial services, and semiconductor, in formats such text, image, or audio based on the intended use. It is an enterprise-grade, domain-specific AI platform that ensures secure use of business- and industry-specific data.

With "LLM-IQ™," which evaluates the knowledge and performance of LLMs, and "Model Mesh™," a reasoning engine that autonomously orchestrates multiple AI models and AI agents, the platform assembles the right squad of models and agents for every task.

In addition, it adopts a graph database that understands relationships within data, enabling it to present its thought processes and rationales for its responses. This is expected to further improve the accuracy and reliability of generative AI. It can be deployed both on cloud and on-premise, enabling a highly secure generative AI environment optimized for each company.

Data & AI Offering Suite is a comprehensive suite of services designed to consistently support the utilization of data and AI to help customers solve business and operational challenges. CTC has standardized the insights gained from numerous PoCs to provide AI agents, AI deployment support services and data platforms that are tailored to use cases in areas such as legal, HR, audit, manufacturing and sales.

The addition of the platform as the core of our Data & AI Offering Suite will help us fully launch services to transform company-specific data into assets that drive tangible outcomes. We aim to enhance our support for continuous, company-wide use of generative AI-not just limited to adoption by specific divisions or as PoC initiatives.
