The English program at FSU stood out to me, and the campus was not too small or too big. I also liked the diversity of the students.

I majored in English with a professional writing concentration. My advice is to start working on your papers immediately. The more you get into your major, the more your classes will be about writing a bunch of papers that will most likely be due around the same time. College is the most pivotal time of your life. It shapes you through experiences while being there.
My internship with Good Morning Frostburg (GMF) stretched me in ways I didn't know. A lot of things happen behind the scenes of a newsroom, and I experienced a glimpse of that firsthand with my internship. It was challenging, but I have also grown to love the news space. I went into the internship program wanting to just fulfill a requirement, to loving the job and the pressure that came with it!

My job is to do just that.
I like to go to the gym, get my nails done, and hang out with my community!
Cold, diverse, welcoming
