Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tasos Chatzivasileiou, to visit Brussels (22-23.06.2026)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for European Affairs, Tasos Chatzivasileiou, is traveling to Brussels, today, Monday, June 22, 2026, for a two-day visit, where he will hold a series of meetings on current issues, as well as on the preparations for the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in the second semester of 2027.

In particular, on Monday, June 22, Mr. Chatzivasileiou will hold a meeting with Greek MEPs. On Tuesday, June 23, he will meet with the European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, as well as with the European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration, Piotr Serafin.

Additionally, he will meet with the Director-General for General and Institutional Policy (GIP) of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, Didier Seeuws.

The visit also includes meetings with officials of the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU.
