RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. - MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, in partnership with MacKay & Company, are pleased to announce Drew Backeberg, senior vice president of aftermarket at Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), will deliver the OEM Perspective keynote at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) 2026.
The premier full-day conference for the commercial vehicle aftermarket will take place Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, just ahead of the opening of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW).
As senior vice president of aftermarket, Backeberg leads all Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) Aftermarket functions, with responsibility for customer experience, warranty, dealer service, distribution network development, parts sales and marketing, parts distribution, parts eCommerce platform, connectivity services, Alliance Parts and Detroit Reman. With more than 20 years of experience within Daimler Truck and its affiliates, Backeberg has been instrumental in advancing DTNA's Aftermarket strategy, enhancing digitalization and strengthening partnerships across the independent channel.
At Dialogue 2026, Backeberg will provide an OEM perspective on the future of the heavy-duty aftermarket and offer an overview of Daimler Truck's strategic priorities in parts sales, vehicle service and technology transformation-highlighting how these initiatives impact suppliers and the aftermarket ecosystem.
