On July 21st, Dallas City Hall lobby is turning into an interactive lesson in zoning.
Join us for Zoning 101: How Dallas Takes Shape, a casual, interactive conversation designed to make zoning easier to understand and easier to talk about.
If you have never attended a zoning event before, this is a great place to begin. Walk through the exhibit, talk with City staff, ask questions and learn how zoning shapes the places we live, work and move through every day. There are two opportunities to attend:

11 a.m.-1 p.m. or 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Dallas City Hall Lobby
Bring a friend, coworker or neighbor who may be curious about how Dallas takes shape.
Car and Bike Parking:
The most convenient parking is in the metered spaces in the U-shaped parking lot south of City Hall. Enter the parking lot from Ervay Street to the east or Akard Street to the west. Parking meters cease tracking time at 6:00 pm.
Bike racks are located to the right of each entrance.
Transit:
The Red, Blue, Green, and Orange Rail lines drop visitors a short 5- to 10-minute walk from City Hall at the Akard Station (Note: the Convention Center rail stop is closed). High-frequency bus routes Route 3 (Ross Ave) and Route 9 (Jefferson/Gaston), as well as Routes 16, 18, 102, and 224 will bring you just a few blocks away from City Hall, while local routes 13 and 106 stop directly curbside along Marilla, Young, and Ervay Streets right at the plaza entrance.
