Kirkland & Ellis advised GEP Haynesville II, LLC on the sale of its majority interest in South Mansfield upstream to JERA. In addition to the upfront purchase price, GEP will receive deferred monthly payments through 2029 that are based on a predefined development plan. GEP will continue to operate and develop the upstream asset under a Contract Operating Agreement on a fixed fee basis, ensuring operational continuity and continues to own and operate other Haynesville assets that are not involved in this transaction.
