West Jordan Moves One Step Closer to a New Recreation Center at Ron Wood Park

West Jordan is one step closer to a new recreation center at Ron Wood Park. Last week, the Salt Lake County Council voted to move forward with a bond proposal that would help fund the construction of a new recreation center in West Jordan.

We are grateful to the Salt Lake County Council and to Mayor Jenny Wilson for their partnership and continued support in bringing this opportunity to our community.

So, what happens now?

The bond proposal will be placed on the November ballot for consideration by Salt Lake County voters. In addition to the proposed West Jordan Recreation Center, the bond would fund several recreation improvements throughout the county. This means voters will have the final say on whether to approve the funding.

As we move toward November, we look forward to sharing more information and engaging with the community. Ultimately, this decision rests with you, the voters.
