Extreme Heat Warning: The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Costa Mesa, beginning Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 AM and through Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8 PM. The Senior Center, public libraries, community centers, and other public government buildings are considered cooling centers during normal business hours.
