The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, met with the President of the General Council of Spanish Citizenship Abroad, Violeta Alonso Peláez, to discuss improvements in services for Spanish citizens abroad.

In particular, the president highlighted the progress made in both strengthening in-person services at consulates and modernising service delivery through the Consular Digitalisation Plan, access to the upcoming Digital Office, and the launch of new applications.
