Now open: Mercer County Route JJ West Honey Creek Bridge

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Mercer County Route JJ bridge over West Honey Creek, near Spickard, reopened to traffic today, Friday, April 17. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted E&C Bridge, LLC to complete a bridge deck replacement project on four bridges in Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan counties.

Listed below are the remaining bridges included in this project:

  • Putnam County Route FF over Shoal Creek, near Livonia, closed through early June.
  • Mercer County Route E over West Medicine Creek, near Harris, closed through early June.
  • Sullivan County Route OO over Locust Creek, near Milan, scheduled to begin May 4.
