Downtown Yuma is gearing up for one of the community's most anticipated events of the year as Tacos and Tunes returns Friday and Saturday, October 3-4, 2025.
New this year: Saturday's event takes place entirely in the evening - no daytime activities - so plan to join us Under the Stars!
The festivities kick off Friday night from 6 to 11 p.m. on Main Street with a classic and custom care show hosted by Streetwise Car Club. Guests can enjoy a showcase of vintage vehicles while enjoying live entertainment from the Big Boss Band. While no food or vendor booths will be present on Friday, visitors are encouraged to dine at the many restaurants in Downtown Yuma.
On Saturday, the celebration continues with Tacos and Tunes Under the Stars from 5 p.m. to midnight. The evening will feature food, music, and community performances. Regional food vendors will compete for the title of People's Choice Taco King, decided by community votes.
From 6 to 10 p.m., Mariachi Jalisciense will fill the streets with festive music, while at 7:30 p.m. Lucha Libre Voz takes the stage in the 100 block of Main Street with a wrestling performance - showcasing one of Mexico's most iconic traditions in Yuma. The night will wrap up with performances by Santanaways and Amigo Bronco.
"Tacos and Tunes has truly become one of Yuma's signature celebrations," said Brissa Garcia, Special Events Coordinator. "It's more than just tacos and music - it's about creating lasting memories, supporting our local vendors, and celebrating what makes Yuma so special."
This year's Tacos and Tunes is made possible thanks to the support of its generous sponsors. Chretin's serves as the Presenting Sponsor, joined by Stage Sponsors Chapman Chevrolet GMC and RAFI Law Group Yuma, Major Sponsor Allo Fiber, and media partners Channel 11, ABC 5, and Telemundo.
