Congressman Flood's New Year Statement

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA- Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood released a statement ahead of the New Year holiday, which is celebrated on Thursday, January 1st.

"The New Year is a time for both reflection and renewal. As Americans and as Nebraskans, we have much to be thankful for as we turn the page and enter 2026. Our economy continues to grow, our communities enjoy great peace and prosperity, and, thanks to American leadership, a number of significant conflicts abroad have been concluded.
