  • $3,425 was awarded to expand the Buckeye Police Bike Unit. These funds will cover personnel costs to support patrols at major events and safety education.
  • $30,331 was awarded to support traffic investigations. This grant covers crash reconstruction software and overtime expenses for specialized personnel to investigate accidents.
  • $60,338 was awarded to support speed enforcement operations. This grant funds personnel and equipment costs to focus on speeding and other dangerous traffic violations including distracted driving and aggressive and reckless driving.

The grants, totaling $147,385, were awarded to Buckeye police for FY 2026.
