Dentons strengthens its Banking and Finance practice in Prague with the return of partner Martin Manduľák

August 3, 2026

Prague-Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Banking and Finance practice in Prague with the return Martin Manduľák as a partner. His return reflects Dentons' continued investment in building one of the strongest cross-border transactional teams in Central and Eastern Europe, combining Czech and English law capabilities to advise clients on the region's most complex domestic and international finance transactions.

Martin Manduľák advises banks, private credit providers, private equity houses, investment funds and corporations on domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition, leveraged, corporate, project and export finance. He also has significant experience in debt restructurings. He worked as a lawyer at Dentons from 2012 to 2023, before moving to a senior in-house legal role focused on M&A and financing matters at J&T Banka. His combined private practice and in-house experience give him valuable insight into the challenges facing his clients.

"Martin's return is a major step in our long-term strategy of building a first-choice platform in Prague for complex, cross-border financing transactions out of Prague," said Daniel Hurych, Partner and Co-Head of Banking and Finance in the Czech Republic.

Martin's return follows the relocation of English-qualified banking and finance partner Logan Wright to Dentons' Prague office in 2025. Wright has extensive experience in advising on complex lending transactions worldwide, including leveraged acquisition finance, project and export finance, structured trade finance, term loan B financing, margin loans and debt restructurings. He regularly acts for leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors and corporates across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. "Over the last year, our Band 1-ranked Banking and Finance team has welcomed two new partners: Logan Wright, who has strengthened our English law capability, and now Martin Manduľák, who brings Czech law finance and restructuring experience. With these additions, we have created an exceptionally strong platform for clients undertaking sophisticated financing transactions across multiple jurisdictions," said Ondřej Bartoň, Partner and Co-Head of Banking and Finance in the Czech Republic.

"Financing structures are becoming increasingly international, and clients are looking for seamless cross-border advice, and we are well placed to deliver exactly that," said Martin Manduľák. "Dentons' global platform, combined with our Czech and English law capabilities in Prague create a unique opportunity to support banks, funds and corporates on financing and restructuring matters across Central Europe and beyond."

Dentons' global Banking and Finance practice brings together the experience of more than 900 lawyers worldwide. With the return of Martin Manduľák, Dentons' 19-strong Banking and Finance team in Prague now includes four partners.
