Outgoing Indian Deputy High Commissioner Pays Farewell Call on Defence Secretary
The outgoing Deputy High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, paid a farewell call on the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence today (09 June).
During the meeting, the Defence Secretary and Dr. Pandey exchanged views on the longstanding and friendly relations between Sri Lanka and India. The Defence Secretary appreciated Dr. Pandey's contribution towards strengthening bilateral ties during his tenure in Sri Lanka and conveyed his best wishes for his future endeavours.
