Centennial-themed “Illuminate Lewisville” light show

Join the City of Lewisville for an unforgettable three-night Centennial-related experience that brings art, light, and the community together for "Illuminate Lewisville," 6-9 p.m., Nov. 7-9, in Old Town.

Lewisville City Hall, 151 W. Church Street, will transform into a glowing canvas as stunning projection art, by Dallas-based artists Lightware Labs, adorns the building with images, video, and animation, telling the story of Lewisville's past, present, and future.

Visitors will be able to explore interactive artistic activities, light-up games, and enjoy tasty options from local food trucks. Everyone is invited to bring their friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy this one-of-a-kind event that honors the City's history while looking ahead to a bright future. "Illuminate Lewisville" promises to be a centennial celebration that can't be missed

On Friday, Nov. 7, "Illuminate Lewisville" will be part of First Fridays and include extra activities such as an LED Photobooth, food trucks on Church Street, light-up street games, and a light-up art project for everyone to take home.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, and Sunday, Nov. 9, "Illuminate Lewisville" continues with the projection art with a slightly smaller footprint including food carts, sidewalk games, and the light-up art project for all.

"Illuminate Lewisville" is being sponsored by the City of Lewisville as part of the Centennial Celebration and Public Art Program.

This is an outdoor event. The Projection Art can be shown during rain events, but any other program changes due to inclement weather will be made each day of the event by noon and posted on social media and the website.
