For the fourth year in a row, Tampa Convention Center is nominated for Best Convention Center (Regional - Southeast U.S.) in the prestigious Stella Awards. The center has won the gold medal, the top honor, for this category in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

"To receive this nomination for the fourth year running is truly meaningful," said David Ingram, Executive Director of the Tampa Convention Center. "It highlights the commitment to excellence our team and service partners bring to every event."

The Stella Awards are the highest honor in the meetings and events industry, recognizing convention centers, conference centers, hotels, and other event suppliers that consistently deliver exemplary service and innovation to event managers and planners. 2026 marks the 10th year for the awards, which are presented by Northstar Meetings Group.

Northstar Meetings Group received more than 1,100 nominations across 16 categories this year, making it the most competitive Stella Awards to date. The Tampa Convention Center is among seven nominees being considered for the title of Best Convention Center in the Southeast U.S.

Only nominees with the most votes will advance to the final round. Finalists will then be judged by a panel of meeting industry experts. Winners will be announced October 7.
