Scheduled Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM

Alameda and Contra Costa Counties - Caltrans is slated to close the Caldecott Tunnel Bore 3 on westbound State Route 24 (SR-24) overnight in Alameda and Contra Costa counties on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The closure will start at 10:00 PM and end at 4:30 AM the following morning. This closure is necessary for cable relocation and routine maintenance. All other tunnel bores in both directions will remain open to traffic. Please be aware that this schedule depends on weather conditions and may change.
