Incontro con il Primo Ministro del Kuwait

A margine dell'Europe-Gulf Forum, il Presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, ha incontrato il Primo Ministro del Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.

L'incontro ha consentito al Presidente del Consiglio di ribadire la solidarietà e il sostegno di Roma a Kuwait City per gli ingiustificati attacchi iraniani.

Nel corso dei colloqui i due leader hanno inoltre discusso della situazione regionale e di come rafforzare ulteriormente la già solida cooperazione bilaterale, a partire dai settori strategici della difesa e degli investimenti.

Il Presidente Meloni ha infine confermato la volontà di compiere una visita in Kuwait, accogliendo l'invito formulato dall'Emiro Sheikh Misha'al Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
